CHRISTIAN GRANDE WITH BESENZONI: RIFLESSI SUL MARE
Stemming from the collaboration between Besenzoni and the Christian Grande studio, the installation consists of a series of mirrored platforms that symbolically emerge from the sea, each of which represents an iconic element of the brand’s universe: the gangway connecting land to water, the boat to land, adventure to certainty.
The pilot seats are the ideal element of contact between the world of sailing and the shore. The mirrored surfaces dematerialize to signify the ability of the company’s products to integrate into every element on board, generating interplays of light and reflections that recall the movement of the waves and the marine horizon.
The result is a contemplative experience between ever-changing horizons, views of the sea and sky that change with the shifting standpoint of the viewers, who, by reflecting on themselves, become part of the project.
In the Portico of the Courtyard of Honor, the installation created by Besenzoni with the Christian Grande studio consists of four metal sculptural elements, each with a mirror coating and a structural core in metal box profiles. Each element has a concealed internal weight that ensures its stability.
The work is completed with glass panels representing the sky and the water. The volumes reach a maximum height of 280 cm and a depth of 150 cm.
