The 21st edition of Seatec<\/b> and the 15th of Compotec Marine<\/b> concluded with a challenging development plan.<\/p>\n
The two events were organized as part of the second edition of the Tuscany Yachting Week<\/b>, an event that combines the two CarraraFiere<\/b> exhibitions with Yare, (Yachting Aftersales and Refit Experience)<\/b>, the international yachting event dedicated to refits and aftersales in the superyacht sector, organized by Navigo<\/b>, the Viareggio service center for nautical innovation and development.<\/p>\n
The development and growth directions of Seatec-Compotec Marine<\/b> are aimed at giving prominence to the sectors of raw materials<\/b>, semi-finished products<\/b> and on-board fitting out work<\/b>, areas which do not have significant exhibition areas, extending the area of interest from Tuscany to all of Italy and the most productive Mediterranean area, from Spain to Turkey.<\/p>\n
The other areas of interest of the event are training<\/b>, particularly in those areas where the needs of construction sites are greatest, and the promotion of the meeting between supply and demand in work<\/b>, an increasingly sensitive and delicate topic for the development and growth of shipbuilding.<\/p>\n
CarraraFiere<\/b>, due to its location at the center of the vast area of maximum yacht production, and of the entire related supply chain, which extends from La Spezia to Livorno, has all the positive characteristics to deal with and develop these issues, with the added joint work with Navigo<\/b> of Viareggio, promoter through Isyl<\/b> of specialized advanced training courses for various professionals in the sector.<\/p>\n
The agreement between the two events maintains the distinctive characteristics of the individual events, making the most of the identity of Seatec-Compotec Marine<\/b> as a B2B event with an exhibition format aimed at the nautical subcontracting chain, construction materials and related technologies, without forgetting the consolidated one-to-one meetings between exhibitors and Italian shipyards and the delegation of international buyers sponsored by Ice Agenzia<\/b>,which generated over 600 B2B meetings, with very satisfactory outcomes for both exhibitors and buyers.<\/p>\n
More than 40 companies were able to enjoy the opportunity provided by Seatec-Compotec Marine<\/b> to enrich their presence at the Fair with structured meetings with international buyers from 9 countries: Argentina, Brazil, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Taiwan, USA, Vietnam<\/b>.<\/p>\n
The meetings highlighted excellent business prospects on both sides.<\/p>\n
The joint collaboration has developed an event that has been able to best represent the pride of a production area at the top of the ranking of yacht production in the world by creating the Tuscany Yachting Week<\/b>, a pilot experiment of intersection between the two events capable of connecting the hubs of Viareggio and Marina di Carrara, pillars of district leadership of the highest international value in the luxury shipbuilding panorama. The effort of the organizers has constituted a real consortium of the quality supply chain, not only representing the Versilia cluster, but of the entire Italian nautical industry.<\/p>\n
As part of the Tuscany Yachting Week<\/b>, in close synergy between Seatec-Compotec Marine<\/b> and Yare<\/b>, a Gala Dinner<\/b> was organized with 500 participants: exhibitors from Seatec-Compotec Marine, captains and companies from Yare, the delegation of international buyers coordinated and promoted by Ice Agency<\/b>, regional and territorial authorities. In the evocative venue of the Pala Todisco in San Giuliano Terme and in the presence of the president of the Tuscany Region Eugenio Giani<\/b>, the evening \u2013 in addition to contributing to networking between the participants of the two Tuscany Yachting Week events \u2013 was an opportunity for extra-sector promotion thanks to the collaboration of Toscana PromozioneTuristica<\/b> and the support of the Chamber of Commerce of North-West Tuscany<\/b>.<\/p>\n
