{"id":4845,"date":"2024-02-26T23:09:05","date_gmt":"2024-02-26T23:09:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sea-tec.it\/?p=4845"},"modified":"2024-03-06T08:56:12","modified_gmt":"2024-03-06T08:56:12","slug":"20-seatec-yachting-week-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sea-tec.it\/?p=4845&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"SEATEC COMPOTEC-MARINE 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">The 21<span class=\"s1\"><sup>st<\/sup><\/span> edition of <b>SEATEC<\/b>, the only exhibition in Italy dedicated to companies that supply the naval and recreational shipbuilding industry and the 15<span class=\"s1\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span> edition of <b>COMPOTEC MARINE<\/b>, dedicated to composite materials and related technologies in the nautical sector, organized by <b>Carrarafiere<\/b>, it will be held on March 14th and 15th, as part of the <b>Tuscany Yachting Week<\/b> in coordination and cooperation with YARE, organized by <b>Navigo<\/b> of Viareggio.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>SEATEC-COMPOTEC MARINE<\/b> confirms its vocation as a B2B event with an exhibition format aimed at the nautical subcontracting supply chain, construction materials and related technologies, enriched by consolidated one-to-one meetings between exhibitors and the delegation of international buyers sponsored by <b>Ice Agency<\/b>, addressed to European countries such as Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary and non-EU countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Morocco, South Africa, Taiwan, Tunisia, USA, Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The <b>MYDA<\/b>, Millennium Yacht Design Award competition has also been confirmed, now in its 20<span class=\"s1\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span> edition, aimed at novice and professional designers who will compete on the themes of &#8220;New Projects&#8221; and &#8220;The Boat on a Human Scale&#8221; and whose winners will have their projects exhibited in the specially set up exhibition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Central common topics continue to be innovation and sustainability, in particular with the area dedicated to Startups, not only in the marine sector, but also in sectors transversal to the nautical sector, in two moments at <b>YARE<\/b> linked to refits and at Seatec, in parallel in the afternoon on Friday 15<span class=\"s1\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This second edition of the <b>Tuscany Yachting Week<\/b> is enriched with the <b>TRAINING<\/b> area at <b>Carrarafiere<\/b>, an event dedicated to training, on March 14<span class=\"s1\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span> afternoon, promoted by <b>ISYL<\/b> (Italian Super Yacht Life), <b>ITS<\/b> (Higher Technical Institute) of Tuscany based in Viareggio, born with the aim of organizing highly professional training courses dedicated to educating future professionals in the sector, including training moments in dedicated rooms and desk to desk and visits to <b>SEATEC-COMPOTEC MARINE<\/b> in the pavilions. The <b>YARE<\/b> training moves around a hundred young people from the <b>ITS<\/b> to <b>Carrarafiere<\/b>, involving the shipyard staff managers, who are also involved in <b>SEATEC<\/b> in the <b>Career Day<\/b>, a starting point for deepening the meeting between supply and demand for work in the nautical sector and in which the shipyard academies, which have proliferated in recent times, will be involved. Alongside this fundamental topic for the development and growth of the sector, issues related to fundraising for research and development will be addressed on Friday 15<span class=\"s1\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span>, an equally important area for the growth of the sector.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Another important area that is developed and represented is the <b>YACHTING DESTINATION<\/b> with the participation of <b>MARINE DELLA TOSCANA<\/b>, an aggregate of 11 Tuscan ports representing approximately 3500 berths in the region alone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>ASSONAT<\/b>, National Association of Tourist Landings and Ports, committed to protecting the interests of entrepreneurial entities involved in the construction and\/or management of tourist port facilities, ports, marinas, landing places, mooring points, buoy fields, storage facilities, dry ports and adjacent or similar tourist-nautical activities will also be present at <b>SEATEC<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In collaboration with <b>Saily.it<\/b>, an area dedicated to <b>SAILING<\/b>, oceanic, Olympic and the America&#8217;s Cup will be organized at <b>SEATEC<\/b>, with important witnessing from protagonists of the three areas accompanied by exciting videos of ocean and Olympic regattas and the preliminary events for the Cup connected to the suppliers of equipment and components of the specific sector, which will be set around an example of the wing on which Luna Rossa and the other America&#8217;s Cup boats &#8220;fly&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">On the evening of Thursday 14<span class=\"s1\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span>, the <b>Networking Gala Dinner<\/b> will be repeated, which was so successful last year, a special event that allows event participants to socialize in a prestigious location with the contribution of high-quality food and entertainment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 21st edition of SEATEC, the only exhibition in Italy<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":4226,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[129],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-4845","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-press-release-2024"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
