\nSEATEC – COMPOTEC MARINE AND YARE: PARTNERSHIP FOR THE NEXT EDITIONS IN
\nMARCH 2022<\/p>\n
CarraraFiere and Navigo show the way towards an unique Tuscan Event dedicated to Yachting and Boating
\nCarraraFiere, organizer of Seatec-Compotec Marine and \u201cNAVIGO\u201d, a service center for the innovation
\nand development of boating organizer of YARE, have joined forces in a synergy aiming to set up in the
\ncoming years a Tuscan event dedicated to professional boating and yachting: an important meeting
\nopportunity for the actors of the international shipbuilding industry,
\nComments Leonardo Marras, Councilor for Economy and Tourism of the Tuscany Region: "The synergy
\nbetween two key promotional events in the sector is a really good signal. The support of the Region for this
\npartnership is in line with the path of support and relaunch of Carrara Exhibition that we have been
\nundertaking for months and which are now giving positive results. Carrara and Viareggio are the most
\nimportant hubs for the yachts and superyachts construction, internationally, therefore this event marks a new
\nimpulse for an industrial sector well known to the world by its excellencies and development prospects for
\nthe future ".
\nThe goal is developing together an international event representing the pride of an industrial area at the top
\nof the yacht production worldwide, with the aim of establishing the 'Settimana della Nautica Toscana'.
\nTuscany is the region where the marine supply chain is almost exclusively oriented to the superyacht sector
\nwith 5,000 marine companies (of which 3,000 related to yachting), about 18,000 direct employees, 70
\nspecializations (between production and services). An entire District that can count on a total production
\nvalue of 2 billion euros for boating (with an average of + 10% in recent years excluding the current one),
\nequal to 50% of the national figure; 30% of yachts over 30 meters (vocation of the entire district) produced
\nin the world and a foreign clientele equal to 95% in the superyacht sector.
\nOn the occasion of the next March 2022 editions, Seatec-Compotec Marine and YARE propose a
\nconnection between the two events that will join the production centers of Viareggio and Carrara, pillars of a
\nleadership of the highest international value in the panorama of luxury yachting and shipbuilding. The
\norganizers aims at establishing a \u201cconsortium\u201d of the quality supply chain, representing the entire Italian
\nmarine industry.
\nThanks to the partnership signed between the two Companies, with the endorsement of the Tuscany Region,
\nand the Municipality of Carrara, Seatec-Compotec Marine, scheduled for Thursday 17 and Friday 18
\nMarch, and YARE (sponsored by the Municipalities of Viareggio, Camaiore and Pietrasanta), scheduled
\nfrom Wednesday 16 to Friday 18 March, with a preview on Tuesday 15 March for the Captains guests of the
\nevent, will share some selected meetings.
\nThe agreement between the events, while keeping the distinctive characteristics of each event, fully enhances
\ntheir identities:
\nSeatec-Compotec Marine as a B2B event with an exhibition format aimed to the marine subcontractors and
\none-to-one meetings between exhibitors and the most prestigious Italian and international shipyards
\ndelegates, sponsored by the ICE \/ ITA Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalisation of
\nItalian companies, operational arm of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
\n(MAECI)<\/p>\n
YARE as the only international event dedicated to the yachting industry focused on Superyacht Refitting
\nand Aftersales sector – as a B2C meeting between Superyacht Captains and production, refit and marine
\nyards and all Italian and non-service companies.
\nThe two events will join forces on Friday 18 March with the visit of YARE's guest Captains to Seatec-
\nCompotec Marine and an \u201cFuorisalone\u201d event in Viareggio organized by \u201cNavigo\u201d in which Seatec-
\nCompotec Marine exhibitors will take part.<\/p>\n
