THE SECOND EDITION OF THE BLUE DESIGN SUMMIT IN LA SPEZIA FROM 13 TO 15 MAY<\/p><\/h2><\/div>

The second edition of the Blue Design Summit will take place from 13 to 15 May at the Teatro Civico in La Spezia, the event dedicated to everything related to living on the water, from design to construction and refitting of superyachts, to cruises, from waterfronts to marinas. The summit, organized by Clickutility Team and Promostudi La Spezia, is promoted by the Miglio Blu with the institutional partnership of the Municipality of La Spezia and the Port System Authority of the Eastern Ligurian Sea, a project strongly desired by the Administration to assist the development of the nautical industry, in an area between the Molo Pagliari and the Muggiano in La Spezia, where in just over a mile the major excellences of the world nautical industry are concentrated, such as Sanlorenzo, Baglietto, Gruppo Ferretti, Perini Navi, Antonini Navi, Fincantieri. BDS is dedicated to the protagonists of the entire national and international supply chain of high-end design on the most innovative and strategic themes of the sector to which BDS proposes itself as a think tank dedicated to the analysis and design of new development scenarios.<\/p>\n

The starting point of BDS is the sector of 24-meter + superyachts, in which Italian shipyards are renowned throughout the world. Italy confirms itself as the world leader in the sector with a market share of 51%, with 572 superyachts under construction out of a total of 1,138 in the world. Our country is also the world’s leading exporter of pleasure craft, with a record value of 4.5 billion euros in 2024 (source Confindustria Nautica).<\/p>\n

\u201cLa Spezia confirms itself as an international point of reference for nautical and design \u2013 declared Pierluigi Peracchini, mayor of La Spezia \u2013 as demonstrated by the latest report on the Economy of the Sea which reports an added value generated in the sector of over \u20ac 1 billion 145.3 million, placing us first in Italy for the impact of the Economy of the Sea on the total and with a total of over 14 thousand people employed\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>
