    Green Oil<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Biolubricants today represent the most sustainable choice that can be made in the nautical world, especially when compared to the use of classic mineral oils. The advantages are surprising and immediate for the use of electric actuators for the movements of gangways and tender lifts, for eco-friendly raw materials and supply chain, durability and disposal.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Biolubricants are made up of hydraulic fluids formulated with special natural or synthetic oils of vegetable origin characterized by high resistance to oxidation. The origin from renewable sources, the rapid biodegradability and the non-toxic nature of the bases, as well as the high environmental profile of the additives used, make these biolubricants a responsible choice for those who work in ecologically sensitive areas such as marine ones: biodegradability (according to OECD 301 B) is greater than 60%.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Candeliere eco-sostenibile<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    SITA Compositi Srl ha sviluppato candelieri prodotti con materiali compositi ecosostenibili (in fibra di lino impregnata con speciale resina epossidica la quale presenta al 30% contenuto bio da colza). Rispetto alla produzione della fibra di vetro, quella della fibra di lino \u00e8 20 volte meno tossica; inoltre l’impregnazione con resina di origine biologica riduce ulteriormente la tossicit\u00e0 del prodotto finito. Inoltre, rispetto alla produzione della fibra di vetro quella di lino consuma il 35% in meno delle energie non-rinnovabili, ed essendo il materiale pi\u00f9 leggero permette nelle sue applicazioni dinamiche un dimezzamento dei consumi. E\u2019 molto interessante notare che, rispetto alla produzione della fibra di vetro, la CO2 emessa nel processo risulta meno della met\u00e0 e che la coltivazione del lino sottrae CO2 dall’atmosfera mediante fotosintesi<\/span><\/p>\n

    Eco-Sustainable Stanchions<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    SITA Compositi Srl has developed stanchions produced with eco-sustainable composite materials (in flax fiber impregnated with special epoxy resin which has 30% organic rapeseed content). Compared to the production of glass fibre, the flax fiber manufacturing is 20 times less toxic; furthermore, the impregnation with resin of biological origin further reduces the toxicity of the finished product. Furthermore, compared to the production of glass fibre, flax fiber consumes 35% less non-renewable energy, and as the material is lighter it leads to a halving of consumption in its dynamic applications. It is very interesting to note that, compared to the production of glass fibre, the CO2 emitted in the process is less than half and the cultivation of flax captures CO2 from the atmosphere through photosynthesis.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
