CRANCHI YACHTS DEBUTS AT FUORISALONE WITH “IMMERSIO TEMPORIS” BY CHRISTIAN GRANDE AT PALAZZO CLERICI

Cranchi Yachts, an icon of Made in Italy nautical excellence, chooses Milan Design Week to present “Immersio Temporis”, an immersive installation signed by

visionary designer Christian Grande.

From April 7 to 13, the historic Palazzo Clerici, in the heart of the Brera Design District, will host this impressive installation that explores the concept of time through a double immersion, physical and metaphorical. “Immersio Temporis” is an interpretation of design and boating that transcends temporal boundaries and reinterprets the perception of time, in a sensory experience that blends beauty, innovation and tradition.

The installation invites the viewer to look upward from an unusual position. This new perspective transforms the perception of the surroundings: the keel, suspended between heaven and earth, represents a crystallized instant, a point of balance where time seems to suspend. It plays with the concepts of fluidity and mutability, just like water that holds stories and memories. The blue sheets , evocative of water and made from 500sqm of printed crystal fabric, suggest continuity and immutability. The eyes then are led to dwell on the solid anchorage on land that symbolizes the foundation on which Cranchi Yachts has built its success since 1870.

The work creates a strong contrast between the perception of lightness and the solidity of its structure itself.

The Sala delle Colonne becomes the stage for a video installation that invites visitors to explore Immersio Temporis through the eyes and voice of Christian Grande. The designer reveals the sources of inspiration, the design stages and development of the work, and how he was able to combine the worlds of design and boating, offering an immersive and reflective experience and revealing the deeper soul of the installation.“Our presence at Milan Design Week is not accidental. Cranchi Yachts is a company that interprets contemporary design with a constant focus on innovation and aesthetic research.

Immersio Temporis represents a significant step toward a vision that goes beyond boat building:

it is a celebration of timeless beauty, which goes beyond functionality, and which dialogues with the public through visual and sensory storytelling. Combining the unique charm of the sea with the pursuit of designs that merge with it, representing Italian craftsmanship in the world, is the synthesis of our company. Beauty is our only term of comparison”. Says Guido Cranchi, CEO of Cranchi Yachts “Building boats takes me to travel often and makes me appreciate how much people recognize the value of Italy and Made in Italy. It is essential to represent it with respect and discretion, bringing it to the world with care and attention. An Italianness made of elegance, style and ideas. I am grateful to be able to share and transmit our experience, the fruit of Italian craftsmanship and creativity”. With “Immersio Temporis” Cranchi Yachts proves that it is not only a cutting-edge reality in the nautical world, but also a leading player on the international design scene, bringing its innovative vision and pioneering spirit to the Fuorisalone.

The boatyard has built a solid partnership with designer Christian Grande, who is capable of combining tangible and intangible values in forms and attention to detail. An ability that also translates into this installation.
