NAVIGO APPROVES THE 2024 BUDGET AND PRESENTS THE STRATEGY FOR THE FUTURE OF THE TUSCAN NAUTICAL DISTRICT

The Shareholders’ Meeting of Navigo, a service center for innovation in the nautical sector, took place yesterday, during which the 2024 financial statement was approved and the strategic vision for the coming years was illustrated. Navigo closed the year 2024 with a consolidated turnover of over 2.7 million euros and a constantly growing profit, “confirming itself as a point of reference in the promotion of innovation, training and internationalization of the nautical sector, also consolidating the value of the companies it participates in and manages, including Navigo International, Tyt and Isyl” explains a note.

More specifically, the balance sheet results show that during the year, the value of business services increased by 13.4%, while training activities are currently involving over 300 students through the courses offered by Isyl and Tyt. These dimensions are accompanied by the role of events, which contribute 28% to the 2025 forecast and are confirmed as a strategic lever for international visibility, the competitive positioning of companies and the attraction of investments.

The 2025–2030 strategic plan was also updated during the meeting, which includes strengthening the network with new offices and digital skills, consolidating internationalization activities towards key markets such as Miami, Singapore, Port Said and Dubai, continuing sustainable projects such as the Cielo Project – awarded with the Blue Ambassador Award 2024 – and strengthening the training offer with new courses and facilities dedicated to nautical professions.

During the Assembly, the importance of accelerating on the “sea route” was reiterated as a necessary and strategic axis for the strengthening of the nautical sector and the development of integrated logistics, capable of accompanying the growth prospects of the district and consolidating its positioning on international markets; this is because – continues Navigo – the district is experiencing a crucial phase for the number of productions and it is no longer possible to wait any longer.

The discussion between partners and companies finally revealed the need for a structural intervention to ensure accessibility and adequate port infrastructure, starting from Viareggio. The growth of the district requires integrated logistics, capable of supporting demand and accompanying the development of the entire supply chain.

“Navigo’s strength lies in its ability to create a system – declared President Katia Balducci – creating value not only for its members, but for the entire Tuscan nautical district, with an increasingly international and sustainable strategic vision.”

“Navigo – concludes the note – has finally confirmed its commitment to accessing global markets, developing energy communities and engaging in dialogue with local institutions, reaffirming its leading role in the nautical industry of the future”.
