The increasingly effective and productive partnership between ICE Agency and IMM CarraraFiere will be bringing foreign buyers from 24 countries to Seatec and Compotec for the yachting and composite materials sectors.
Carrara, 22 January 2020
The solid, long-standing partnership between the ICE Agency, the Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalisation of Italian companies, and Seatec, the exhibition of technology, components, design and subcontracting applied to pleasure boating, the only specific event in Italy and southern Europe, and Compotec, the only event in Italy dedicated to the industry of composite materials and their multiple applications (both designed and organised by IMM CarraraFiere), has also led to the formation of two prestigious delegations of foreign commercial operators. In the wake of what has been achieved in previous years, the ICE Agency will be bringing international representatives of the nautical and composites sectors to the two professional technical events. These have been selected working closely with the Marketing Office of the Tuscan exhibition organisation in the context of an increasingly indispensable internationalisation and in the perspective of increasingly globalised activities of the economic sectors of reference.
The far-reaching work carried out by the foreign network of the ICE offices, coordinated by the head offices in Rome, focused on identifying profiles of buyers, importers and distributors from foreign markets that, at present, record interesting prospects in terms of potential demand for technology Made in Italy. Operators from 24 countries will be taking part in the commercial delegation of Seatec Compotec 2020: Albania, Brazil, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Kosovo, Lithuania, Norway, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, United States, South Africa, Sweden and Turkey, Ukraine and Hungary, all countries actively engaged in the construction of boats and yachts and the production of composite parts. The Seatec delegation will also include representatives of prestigious shipyards including Baltic Shipyard, Etap Marine, Feadship, Lloyd Werft, Galeon, Nautor'sSwan and UMS Marine. Among the representatives of companies dealing in composite materials with the highest levels of technology and production, Alan Harper Composites, Lufthansa Industry Solutions and Composites Service AB stand out.
The foreign delegates will be meeting exhibitors from both events through B2B meetings scheduled with a match-making system capable of optimising the parameters of compatibility between supply and demand.
The economic operators selected by the ICE Agency will also be meeting the start-ups of the boating and composite sectors identified by IMM CarraraFiere, present inside the Start Up Arena. This confirms the attention that the government agency places in the activation of specific measures capable of facilitating access to the markets, commercial partners and foreign investors of Italian start-ups whose product or service has potential for international development - today even more so given the current situation characterised by stagnant domestic demand.
